This puts the system in G\u00f6ttingen in fifth place in Germany.<\/p>\n<p>The TOP500 is the list of the 500 fastest supercomputers worldwide. It is relaessed twice a year in June and November and ranks the performance of systems using the LINPACK benchmarks.
